Youtuber Jenny Nicholson (who you should definitely subscribe to) uploaded a video about Justice League, where she rips it apart like only she can. You should check out the whole video, but skip ahead to 6:50 for the part that’s relevant to this article.

Joss Whedon has come under fire in both his personal and professional life. There was recently an article in the Washington Post where he was labelled a “hypocrite preaching feminist ideals” by his ex-wife, who accused the Justice League director of being unfaithful to her, and said she suffered severe PTSD after their time together.

“I want to let women know that he is not who he pretends to be,” said Kai Cole, who was married to Whedon from 1995 to 2016.

In his professional life, Joss Whedon has taken some heat for his work on Justice League, with some fans demanding a Zac Snyder cut. Snyder was originally at the helm of the film, until having to step away due to a tragedy in his family, and he was replaced by Joss Whedon.

In Jenny’s video, she talks about the awkwardness of the editing in this movie, and  how bad some of the attempts at humor were. For instance, when The Flash falls over and his face lands on Wonder Woman’s chest, a gag that had previous been used in another of Whedon’s movies, she said:

“I assume that part was written by Joss Whedon because that dumb hack used the exact joke in Age of Ultron. What are you doing, Joss? You going to cheat on your movies now like you cheat on your wife?” – Jenny Nicholson
